I understand the anxiety that is associated with learning to swim for the first time. The statistics on infant and child drownings are staggering. Obviously, children are curious about their surroundings, including pools, Jacuzzis, lakes, etc. This is especially true in southern California, near the ocean, where most drownings occur.
I not only teach survival skills, but I also integrate fun along with water acclimation, breath control, propulsion and safety. Providing your child with the most well rounded aquatic education is my ultimate goal. Teaching children to swim at an early age builds confidence, self-esteem and increases motor skill development.
